Charlton Athletic are reported to be on the verge of signing defender Guillame Coq'uomble, from French L1 side Chamois L'Eather.
Coq'uomble, 23 is currently on loan with Dutch team Go Down Eagles.
"He's certainly someone who has been looked at", said current Charlton Manager Chris Powell, "although, if I am honest, he hasn't been looked at by anyone from Charlton".
"Don't ask me", said Chairman Richard Murray, when asked about the signing. "I've never heard of him either. Although I have seen his name on Charlton Life a few times".

Its a stupid sounding name, he's from the Continent and Chris Powell doesn't want him.
That's good enough for me.
Not sure how it will wash with the Chamois supporters though.
