Hamer, Alnwick or Thuram?

I can't help but wonder the logic. Alnwick started Tuesday night and kept it respectable why did Thuram start if Alnwick is third choice?

    Both Bens out of contract in the Summer. No point having all 3. Hamer is possibly seen as having potentially more sell-on value (if signed up) and is out injured. Always likely to get rid of one.
