PIOTR PARZYSZEK WHERE ARE YOU

Starting to think he does not really exist0

If you are worse off and down the pecking order to a knackered Simon Church.
Then you are not very good.
Maybe Polish Pete, on second inspection, is not all that. He can't be. Or CP is holding out for a different, more complex football motive.0 -
Starting for KuPS tonight in the Conference League against Palace. Only took 12 years to make his first start in England since signing for us.12

Every time I see a necropost like this from a long dead thread, with some travesty of a player that got foisted on us by that Belgian c**t and his fever dream delusions of owning a football network, I feel like this...

So was he actually a good player in the end0
-
Hope he scores and knocks Palarse out.2
-
He's only bloody scored
We should never have let him go

Wow he scored, good finish too, turned out to have a decent career1
-
He's always been a Charlton legend. Never in doubt.9

In espionage parlance, a (very) long term penetration agent.10

Palace end up shitting the bed and are having to go through the playoffs, if they won tonight they would have been in the top 8 and automatically through to the next round4

Well now the search option finally works the mods have made more work for themselves having to be busy closing old threads all over the front page!6

Hopefully they don't play the Czech team in 24th.sam3110 said:Palace end up shitting the bed and are having to go through the playoffs, if they won tonight they would have been in the top 8 and automatically through to the next roundI hear Armenia, Kosovo and Bosnia are nice in January.1 -
God bless you Polish Pete5

He even got another goal which was narrowly offside, always found the ridicule of Polish Pete to be quite harsh, it wasn't his fault he wasn't picked or even given a chance in a chaotic part of our history, has been vindicated somewhat, carved a decent career in Spain, Italy, Belgium, now Finland after leaving us, recently won the Finnish top flight, and scoring goal in Europe against a Prem side.10

How I remember it. He was a punt - a promising youngster we got cheap and looked to improve. We then threw him in the deep end, which he wasn't ready for, and offloaded him to the sound of moaning about our recruitment from the fans.IR94 said:He even got another goal which was narrowly offside, always found the ridicule of Polish Pete to be quite harsh, it wasn't his fault he wasn't picked or even given a chance in a chaotic part of our history, has been vindicated somewhat, carved a decent career in Spain, Italy, Belgium, now Finland after leaving us, recently won the Finnish top flight, and scoring goal in Europe against a Prem side.0 -
Agreed. One of the major issues of that period, was bringing in raw players from abroad, and expecting them to be first teamers straight away. If he'd come in, and been given the half season to adapt, we might have had a player the next season.IR94 said:He even got another goal which was narrowly offside, always found the ridicule of Polish Pete to be quite harsh, it wasn't his fault he wasn't picked or even given a chance in a chaotic part of our history, has been vindicated somewhat, carved a decent career in Spain, Italy, Belgium, now Finland after leaving us, recently won the Finnish top flight, and scoring goal in Europe against a Prem side.

You could tell that RD changed his tune pretty quickly with how bad signings like Piotr went. Suddenly we were signing more established players from the network and Europe, like Buyens and JBG.
Didn't change the fact he was, and still is, an absolute C U Next Tuesday0 -
It wasn't his fault but he was ridiculed because we'd signed him to replace Yann, the best player we've had outside of the Premier League. We were already trying to fight off relegation and Chris Powell got given a lanky kid who had been playing second division Dutch football and clearly wasn't at it in place of our talismanic striker who went on to win promotion to the Premier League. It was trying to replace a Ferrari with a table lamp. I don't even think he's been vindicated at any real level; he will be able to say he's had an ok career but nowhere near the level of Championship football. He couldn't make an impact in the Eredivisie, Segunda Division or Serie B and found his level in the Polish and Finnish leagues. I don't think anyone who was upset that he was supposed to be the striker to fire us to safety in the Championship will be regretting him moving on, he was never going to be at the level required.IR94 said:He even got another goal which was narrowly offside, always found the ridicule of Polish Pete to be quite harsh, it wasn't his fault he wasn't picked or even given a chance in a chaotic part of our history, has been vindicated somewhat, carved a decent career in Spain, Italy, Belgium, now Finland after leaving us, recently won the Finnish top flight, and scoring goal in Europe against a Prem side.7 -

He played 3 minutes at the end of a 2-0 defeat against Birmingham, hardly throwing someone in, that is barely even enough time to run to the centre circle from the dug out!ken_shabby said:

Well, judging by the game yesterday, I would certainly take him over our striking options at the moment!Garrymanilow said:
