Seriously, has someone run over a black cat, or smashed a mirror, or walked under a ladder ?
This challenging season just got that bit more troubled. With no one giving Charlton any hope going into this game following the late transfer window exits, a patched up XI somehow took an early lead through a rare Sordell goal, and defended superbly through the majority of the game.
However, the last few minutes of the game delivered a Dr Martins boot to the knackers, and compounded by another injury to Wiggins just as the pen from his new four year contract was drying, left the sorry Charlton fans making their way back down the M6 questioning 'what the hell we got to do to catch a break'.
