R.I.P.
Veteran US comedian Sid Caesar has died at the age of 91, according to US media reports.

He was a star of the "Golden Age" of US television, and played Coach Calhoun in the hit musical Grease.

His friend and fellow comedian Carl Reiner said that he died at his home in Los Angeles.

He is best known for appearing in the classic TV series Your Show of Shows, which was a major influence on later US sketch shows.

He was also known for his show "Caesar's Hour", in which he displayed his prowess in mimicry and satire.

He had been ill for about a year before his death, his friend Carl Reiner told Reuters.
