Hamer - 8.5. Some great saves, good collection at the back... ahem, dealt with an exceptionally poor back pass very well.... By not being too casual. Having said that he did seen exceptionally fumbly but I suppose that's the price you pay for a good shot stopper at this level. If he could catch a ball and not drop it he would be at a prem club.
Wilson - 9 - ajdarevic is going to have to fight very hard to take player of the season off of this guy for me.
Morrison - 8 - solid and exceptionally comfortable with the ball at his feet.
Wood - 8 - he and morro seem to have a great understanding and work well together.
Fox - 6.5 - relatively quiet but did well you miss the attacking power of wiggins with fox though, and someone like Harriott needs to receive the ball more because he can undo defences at this level 50% of the time.
Cousins - 8 very good in midfield.
Poyet - 8 never hiding, he's come into the first team and clearly he will stay there.
Ajdarevic - 8.5 - he tried to pick out a few killer passes that would have led to players being clear through on goal. On the ball it sticks to him like glue and he very rarely loses it. I would say he's like Stephens but without that ingrained desire of self destruction Stephens had of wanting to be tackled 9 times out of 10 whilst thinking about a pass. This guy can hold people off then make the pass he wants.
Jackson - 8.5 - really noticed him today, good set pieces in general, good ground covered, loves leading the attack.
Harriott - 8 - and I'm annoyed that I can only give him 8 because I know if he had been given the ball more he might have got a 9. His pace was terrorising their defence and be got round them more than once. Would love to see him against Sheffield United because at league one level I don't think defences could deal with him.
Church - 8.5 - ran his socks off and so nearly got rewarded more than once. I have to say I was watching shooting practice before the game and his shooting is absolutely dreadful! Good thing he used his head... From where I was sitting it looks like he was brought down a fair few times and ref bottled it but still, maybe he could be a bit stronger sometimes.
A great game, the fans were fantastic and I was so happy to be there.
Makes me realise how much better the view is in the east stand though!!!

This man has steel Morrison -8: dealt comfortably with everything Wednesday threw at us Wood - 8: another great bloke to have with you in the trenches. Got a good round of applause from the Wednesday fans when he was subbed at the end (I think he's a Wednesday fan) Fox -7: a sound debut in a big pressure match. Played sensibly Cousins - 7.5: good performance, albeit not in his favoured position. Lots of energy and composure Poyet -7.5: understandably faded a little towards the end but his composure on the ball contributed significantly towards our total dominance in the first half hour Ajdarevic - 7: a very clever player. Not everything he tried came off but he certainly has the ability to open up defences Jackson - 8: led from the front and an excellent free kick for the goal (no wonder everyone in Sheffield is in awe of his set piece prowess; the Sheffield Star devoted three paragraphs to it at the start of their match report) Harriott - 7: unhinged Wednesday in the first half and hit a great strike.
