Apologies for taking some time to post this - a busy schedule, I'm afraid, flying around Asia.
As we get down to the last 16 in the main competition and the last 8 in the Johnstones Paint, there were a few shocks. League leader RedPanda succumbed at home to 3rd placed Numbers in an end-to-end 2-5 game. Addick Addict took highly placed No.1 in South London to a replay in an entertaining 4-4 draw while Tavern caused the upset of the round winning 4-3 away to Bosseyedduck. Shrew got a well earned 2-2 draw against high flying Alex Wright whilst JohnnyH2 could be the dark horse coming into form with a resounding 5-1 away win.
In the Johnstones Paint, Er_Be_Ab_Pl_Wo_Wo_Ch was the highest scorer with a convincing 4-2 win over Terry Naylor.
Congratulations to my conqueror, Macronate. I suppose I had better carry on and run the competition now that I have been knocked out :-)
