A couple of "soccer fans" in NYSE talked about that "ludicrous display last night" and how one of them thought he should be sacked today. Some one overheard this, phones their mate saying "moyes will be sacked today apparently, heard it here first, buy Man Utd stock now". Rinse and repeat, voila, that's how rumours are born.
Won't happen. Moyes was groomed albeit off site for this by Fergie and was appointed on Fergusons advice. Alex will know full well the legacy he left to Moyes was poisonous in terms of real quality and I'm sure Moyes will be given the summer to get in some players.

I've been half expecting to see this today - they should sack him, he won't turn this around. All well and good saying they gave Ferguson time but he took over a mid-table team nit the Champions, and it was a different matter before the Champion's League money.
Hiddink is available and did a good job mid-season at Chelsea, would sound him out then try to go all out for Jurgen Klopp in the summer - not that I think he'd take it.

I can't understand this at all.....I mean what has Moyes done wrong other than not win as many games? You can't win the football league every year and its kinda decent of them to allow either their noisy neighbours or their biggest rivals a chance. We have never won the football league and we don't complain......or do we?

Had always rated Moyes so sad to see him suffering on a personal level.

No sense in sacking him now.
