Good value/cheap holidays at short notice

I'm contemplating having a weeks holiday to celebrate Johnnie Jackson lifting The FA Cup.

Can anyone recommend any good sites they've used ?

I always book well in advance, so have never done a last minute job, cheapo type thing.

I should imagine it would be in Europe somewhere.

www.kayak.co.uk is a good website for price comparison (Flights / Hotels / Car Hire)... Of course its a website that'll redirect you either to travel booking sites or the airline company but I always prefer to use to as has it all in one place
