Any lifers work in gambling that isn't in store?

Evening all,
A post out of curiosity really to any Lifers who work in gambling. I've been working in bookmaking for about 5years, but left my last role as manager as i really wanted to get into trading/compilation. I just wondered if anyone out there did/does this? I could do withsome tips if so! Can't seem to get anywhere application wise, i'm good with numbers & I love sport, have experience they just don't seem to want to touch me with a barge pole and I don't really know what i'm doing wrong.
Anyway, a long shot but cheers! Roll on Sunday.
