I've edited my comment. I thought it was funny but it wasn't particularly. Everyone is entitled to their view and to be fair it's good to debate it.1

How original.....markmc68 said:It's a shame. We've lost a manager. Big deal. We've got a new one now. Let's move on. Support the club. Reading so many of these posts is embarrassing. You are making us a laughing stock. Talk of a protest. Talk of a boycott. Not renewing season tickets. Get real and get a grip.

Agreed.Lurker said:Oh good, another one.
Perhaps both sides need to "Get a grip" then; it's a perfectly natural reaction to the news. We've lost a great man at Charlton, people will naturally want to talk about it - and yes, maybe even vent and show some emotion.
Anger? Disappointment? Frustration? All acceptable right now.
Would be worrying if it was apathy as some seem to wish.1 -
Take your ego to the existing thread1
-
The thing is, what's much worse than people starting threads saying they're going to boycott the club are the smug sods who feel the need to start threads belittling people who are upset by the change. Get over yourself.5
-
Obviously hasnt been paying that much attention to what has been said if you've completely missed a whole thread in which someone has made pretty much made the same point as yourself which could you could posted in!

Maybe it's you who need to move on, get real and get a grip.
People express a view you don't like so they need to "move on".
Why not just let them say what they think about a manager leaving LESS THAN 10 HOURS after he's gone
He was here for over three years as a manager and played over 200 games. Why should people have to "move on" in a matter of seconds just so you don't get embarrassed (though why you would I can't imagine).
A manager leaving is, despite what you think, a big deal.
The only reason Charlton could be a laughing stock is the way it being run by its previous and current owners.
Fans debating a manager leaving happens at every club and at every club some agree and some don't. We are no different.
Let people be sad, happy, bemused, frustrated, excited or whatever about their club. It's called passion.

Can we just have a cull of this new influx of idiots we've had on here over the first few days.
We'll move on when we want, I don't care how many years you've been a season ticket holder.2 -
I do agree but what I don't agree with is not renewing your season ticket over it , it's our club through good and bad times !Henry Irving said:Maybe it's you who need to move on, get real and get a grip.

Neither do I but that is people's choice. Remember some of those now telling us to "get over it" or who are now celebrating were saying that they wouldn't renew while Powell remained (though many didn't have a ST in the first place)Yann897 said:

We're football fans. We get sentimental and passionate. If we didn't, we might as well watch rugby.
Nothing wrong with fans being concerned at the goings on at a club - even if things pan out ok in the end.0 -
Yeah same thing I didn't agree with them either your right it is people's choice but I find it ridiculous and over the top. Onwards and upwards (hopefully) .Henry Irving said:
