Think Reams makes it up from a mixture of balance of probabilities and careful reading of CL threads. It ensures he gets hits on his website.

I sometimes feel that there is some of this going on. News of positive moves, I like to hear though, as it lightens the gloom as what is actually happening does not look good to me. Even if it turns out not to be true.

If Reams "got the sign" last night then, that Powell was gone, with his new sign-up, why wasn't he the first to tell anyone the news??
    What a load of ...

Because he was sworn to secrecy like all that attend any meeting where the clique are not invited!

For the first time ever, I find myself hoping that Reams really is right - that something else (Koc presumably) is on the horizon. Maybe we'll become a real football club again. Sadly I fear it's just even more bullshit.

Welcome Jose, a proper football tactician at last who knows his stuff.
But apparently not considered tactically good enough or knew enough to manage a bigger resourced team in a weaker less competitive league?

It might not be bullshit that somebody is interested in making an offer. We've learnt that all kinds of people came out of the woodwork with 'offers' but the previous regime found a lot of them to be bullshit.

But it is one thing to make an offer, and quite another to persuade RD to accept it. He seems like a person very sure of his decisions. So I can only see him accepting an offer if there is an immediate profit so big that he simply cannot refuse. But why then would a buyer consider it is worth paying that price? Especially now that relegation looms?

I'm afraid we have to face up to the fact that RD is our owner, and we are going to have to deal with that.
