    Went to over 50 matches in Peru - never had anything taken off me or my friends.
    Just enjoyed the beer girls running round the stadium selling beers.

    To be fair that was at Universitario v Alianza Lima and I was in the away end. At Cienciano it didn't happen.

    Phew ! I left my phone at home and as the wife had the car wasn't carrying any keys. Gawd knows what would have happened if I'd had them on me. Disaster unwittingly diverted. And my day out would have been ruined, my life never the same again.

    I dont think the stewarding was over the top but in the lower tier for the latter part of the second half we had stewards and police standing with us. A Jacko late winner and they would have got taken out.

    Clearly been watching our forward play then..

    Think it was a Palarse away game in the mid to late 70's where I saw DM's being removed and loads of Charlton lads ended up standing on the terracing in in their socks. The police had a portakabin and there were literally hundred's of cherry reds piled up.

    Yep I remember having laces taken out of boots in the late 70's early 80's for certain games, same time you could enjoy a pint watching the game if you could hang onto it!!
