Please can we stay up and keep it together a little longer Jackson 7 - loses .5 for fluffing his lines a bit at times but still has the passion to keep going. Kept us ticking over well. Harriott 6 - pulled up early with an injury and never really seemed to get in the game. Needs to find some consistency. Church 6.5 - he tries and tries and tries. He has the energy and drive you want every player to have. Unfortunately he just seems to be a square peg in a round hole in every position. Love his drive but maybe he needs to focus on one area of his game rather than trying to be a jack of all trades.
Obika 8 - changed the game. Some great little touches. Took on his man. Used Yann's jumping style and started winning the ball against the CBs. He only arrived yesterday but he brought more to the game than some players who have been here months, or even years. Sordell 6.5 - looked a threat when running at his man. At other times he looked the part of a striker playing on the wing, drifting in and holding on the defensive line rather than going back out wide.
Hopefully Obika starts up top on Saturday playing the false nine role and church or sordell play off him. We still need to sort out the wide areas, but we have given ourselves a chance now. Let's grab it with both hands! COYR!!!!

Thought he was trying too hard at times. Green - 7 don't get some of the low marks. He got stuck in a few times and created with some very good crosses. Typical cross/shot that hit the post as well. Poyet - 8.5 just pure class & now I know he can hit a ball too! Shoot more often Diego! Cousins 7.5 being a little overshadowed by Poyet, but another good game Jackson - 7.5 started behind Church & kept pushing side on. Great corner for DD Harriott - 6 beat Francis a few times & then came back to try again...and failed. Church - 6.5 needs to spend some time hitting the ball as hard as he can. Can't fault effort.
Obika - 7.5 made a huge difference. Great shift and looked a handful for them all night. Sordell - 7 followed up a decent performance at Spanners, another good effort.
Liked that JR made the Harriot/Obika switch early and that we got steadily more offensive with the subs. Great win, can't beat an injury time winner ;-)
P.S. Really liked the reception for Yann when he warmed up. LOVED the celebration by JJ and then Hamer at the end ;-). COYR!!!!
