This has always been a great memory for me.

There's another, longer version of this where they get both Killer AND Paddy in for the presentation. Think they'd only ever had the scorer on before. Paddy for the assist starting at RB and then through the middle to left wing - what were you doing there Paddy??? ;-)

They also had the winner who picked the first three goals out in a competition, think he came from Thamesmead. I wonder if he is still around and does he post on here.

I know!

Paddy tracking back to his own corner flag to win that tackle, working his way out of trouble, the give and go to Peter Hunt and then that massive sprint half the length of the pitch across to the left wing ready to be in a position to receive again - fantastic awareness and athletiscm.

Then immediately to skin his man and make towards the line, looking up and picking out Halesy with a sumptuous cross - Killer imperiously thundering in his volley.

Sorry, folks ...... just having one of those drooling moments.


If only today we had a winger like Paddy and a goalscorer like Killer.
