    Well done Stig (John) for your excellent piece on the club at war, I really like the Amos Seed link and would be very keen to confirm which Arthur Brown it was on the CWGC records I think we are all close to confirming him as one of our own leaving just one more of the fallen to complete the club playing staff Roll of Honour.

    It's great to see our wartime heritage discussed further and thanks for such an insightful article.

    Thanks very much Clive, much appreciated. You're right about Arthur Brown, but I'm afraid I cannot help. All of my research was from secondary sources, including your own excellent article on the Charlton Museum website, so everything that I know is already out there in public anyway.
