Ive been to the Ivy once in my life back in the early 00's and hoped to see someone famous. Wasnt disappointed to see Bob sat on a table as the lone male with about 6 or 7 women. He was looking very pleased with life that night... and who could blame him.
One of my brief brushes with fame, on the way to Charlton passed the Governor General/Northover Pub corner of Whitefoot Lane and Northover when they were filming Long Good Friday......he was the type of bloke that everyone felt they knew..one of his best roles was his last in The Street on TV. RIP.
