Both Norwich and Fulham are decent middling clubs like ours. They support their local team while others around them follow Man Utd and Liverpool.
People who hate either of them and get tearful over a bit of banter need to get over themselves.

A mate from uni is a Norwich fan. The stick i've been getting for the past 3 years has been unbelievable!

My nan used to live up there in her latter years cos her daughter thought it best for her to leave Lee and to move closer to where she lived.
My nan liked Norfolk but never could stand the Norwich fans.
I remember walking in to a pub with her in the centre of Norwich, it was packed full of Norwich fans who were watching the Ipswich v Norwich derby. Ipswich scored and she started celebrating just to wind them up. We had to get out of there pretty sharpish as it was clear that though they weren't going to do anything to her they might kick my head in just for being with her.0 -

Norwich and Fulham are in very different positions.
Norwich don't have a mega-bucks owner so - despite the parachute money - are going to seriously feel the effects of relegation financially.
People need to remember that they are going to be paying Premiership wages on a Championship income so the parachute payments basically cover that shortfall - but you are still left with a big problem of disaffected players on big wages hanging around the squad.
Fulham are owned by a mega-bucks owner, and though I would dearly love to see them back in League Two that is not going to happen and he will give them more than enough cash to get out of the Championship - he has no choice because he will lose his dough otherwise.
On the plus side for us they are two cracking away trips, certainly way better than Doncaster and Barnsley.0 -

I remember the Sheff Wed fans chanting delight at our demise when we were relegated from the Premiership back in 1998/99 season. Soon after that they plummeted down a couple of divisions and of course we had our great spell in the premiership under Curbs. After hearing their fans wailing how a great team like theirs should not be in the third division, I posted a message on one of their boards saying in effect what goes around comes around. The abuse that came back was heart warming.2

We did I think. Either that or 4-0 (that might just be nostalgia and old age distorting things in my head though). Hasselbaink scored the first and El Karkouri blasted in a free kick towards the end is all else I remember.CAFCTrev said:
