Edinburgh football

Apologies but I cannot see this covered elsewhere. Just watched Hibs chuck away a 2 goal advantage from the away leg and lose on penalties to the Accies. Hibs, Hearts and Rangers all in the second tier next year so (at least) one of them wont go back up. Any one know if there is any other capital city without a top flight team (apart from Cardiff)?

    Was tempted to post this myself.

    Hibs, Hearts and Rangers are 3 of the 5 biggest clubs in Scotland. An incredible turn of events. Great question, no idea of the answer!

    Good question. I had thought Malta, but not the case.

    Is there a league in Liechtenstein? If so, that might be an answer as Vaduz play in Switzerland.

    Yeah, just Glasgow. I didn't see the relevance of Sheffield's population to Scottish football.

    Like Hibs and have many good hibee mates, but hard not to be amused at the cluster fuck butcher has engineered. Imagine rangers will spend money they don't have to get out the league. If hearts had stuck with Locke they'd have been serious contenders. The second division will be way more ineresting than the SPL

    Sorry, was just stating cities much bigger than Edinburgh without top flight teams. If you meant capitals I'll give you Ottawa.... twice as big a population as Edinburgh.
