I notice that current Wycombe player / manager Gareth Ainsworth played in that game.

I remember I went with my old man and my cousin who lived in Stoke. My cousin had never been to a game before, was my dads attempt to get him being a Charlton fan, never happened, my old man wasn't bothered.

Loved the clip, I celebrated like we scored when Mills got tripped. Super Clive wasn't going to miss. Loved it.

Bloody hell there were some proper players in that team. Mendonca was such a quality striker. Never had better in my time. And Kins slamming the ball in his chest. Best ever captain?
    Great days.
  • Clive couldn't wait to take that penalty. Everyone was celebrating before he took it.

    The fans knew

    the Players knew

    and clive knew.

there was no way he was missing that.
  • Yep. Could have been three down in ten minutes. Sat behind the drum. Quite an experience.
  • The couple sat in front of us were arguing because he said he took the kids to the match because with the free coach it was cheaper than taking the family to the zoo like they wanted.
