I think with just two wickets remaining they wanted a good bowl at them in the gloom.

  • Croft c Foakes b S Curran 115

Our declaration is looking more ridiculous by the minute.
  • Parry c Borthwick b Dernbach 20

    264-9
  • Mahmood c Burns b Dernbach 0

268 all out, with a lead of 67.
  • Has anyone explained the dodgy declaration?
Its almost got me thinking about Hansie Cronje !

I read somewhere that it was to prevent Lancs from picking up an extra bowling point as it was looking unlikely that we would pick any batting points up. Seeing as we're only 3(?) points in front of them, they're seeing every point as vital.
  • 25-0 off 6 overs.
    Stoneman 9 n.o.
    Burns 14 n.o.

    Trail by 42.

    My bad..... :(
  • Sangakkara's batting stats this season: 1491 runs at 106.5

Ha, so if he had been out today then his average would have been 99.5 !
    A Bradman moment.

Probably why he went so slow even though we only had 3 wickets left and he should have sped up to try and get usbout of trouble.
  • 11 overs gone, and Lancashire are 40-0... need something to happen soon.
