Sad day for their fans as they are kicked out of the conference for debts of less than £200K. So soon after a miraculous last day (and last minute) escape from relegation. A relatively short UK football league history but a club with a 90 odd year history and sad to see.

Gutted for the fans, but the club has only itself to blame. Dartford, Welling, Chester, Halifax all had part time squads last season. Hereford knew they had money troubles but ploughed ahead paying full time wages, and gaining an obvious advantage. Absolutely correct to expell them and reinstate Chester. Why fo football chairmen think they can run their set ups this way. They released two masseurs mid season. Wtf were they doing with two masseurs?

People dont like the way Roland Duchatalet is running the club but at present you wont see him running this club into the ground e.g. paying extravagant wages for one season wonders nor do you see him ploughing millions of pounds (money he may not always have) into the transfer market just so we can have a couple more seasons in the Premier League.

When you see the way Hereford.. Scarborough.. Darlington have turned out over years I'm gonna be happy for RD to continue how he is (Unless his reluctance to spend money takes us down there anyway of course)

and to think in 4 exceptional seasons a club from the conference could be getting £90 million tv money a year and 4 terrible seasons man utd could end up in the same league as hereford were, who couldn't pay £200,000. Football is barking mad.

It's a massive shame, Hereford is my Gf's local football club and her older brother who has muscular dystrophy I know made enquiries with hereford united into them helping set up a wheelchair football club that he's nuts about and i think they said they couldn't afford to do anything
