  • Watching it at the Valley was ok - cool to see the stadium in the midst of its maintenance (new pitch + seats in NU)
  • The Alcatraz pub in Calella. Good atmousphere for the first 45, and they sell John Smiths. I wanted to watch it with passionate England fans, but theres a pub in town called Callaghans that sells London Pride, and has the matches in spanish, so maybe there for the next one.
  • Missed the 2nd half of brazil game (fell asleep)
missed most of the 1st half and 2nd half of chile game (fell asleep)
    Please help?

Put your 'phone No. on here, we'll call you every five minutes.

Pub in the middle of Wargrave, 200 yards from home. Will stuff up on stodge then get in there for half time in the previous match. Should be rammed.

    Wargrave, Berks? The Greyhound?

1am kick off here, so a few hours sleep then watch it on the couch.

The very same! Half a dozen pints of Rebellion and a filthy hotdog. An excellent night.

  • Belushis in Greenwich was great, if a tad warm. The hour before the game they had a DJ playing all English music (3 Lions, World In Motion, Oasis, Chumbawumba). Very passionate crowd. Place went nuts for a solid ten seconds or so when everyone thought Sterling had scored.

The guy behind the bar said we'd sold about 100 tickets but I reckon there were around 60/70 there on the night. It was in the Millenium Lounge and it looked as though there was a more formal event taking place in Crossbars too.

  • Anyone know of anyone who has one/two spare tickets for Uruguay game they're trying to sell? I'm out here have a couple of mates who need tickets so any contacts anyone might have would be amazing. Cheers.
