. @IgorVetokele says he will do a celebration special dance for the viewers of 1905 after his next goal!
  • I can't be the only one who thinks he's been absolute dog shit the last few games. His first touch has been absolutely abysmal. I wonder if it's a knock on effect from the injuries? He just doesn't look the same player we had at the start of the season

Last two home games he's been poor. He's trying hard enough but nothing is going right. He should've been subbed yesterday rather than Harriot.

Yes, in both the Ipswich and Blackpool games several time he's miscontrolled simple passes to him, when in dangerous areas, quite strange really.

Imo he is suffering from being rushed back from injury. He seems to have lost half a yard of pace.

He's also getting much more "attention" from oppo centre backs. Clarke gave him a right going over yesterday.

When you add a criminal lack of service into the equation he is the last person we should be singling out for criticism.

He's low on confidence at the moment, but is quality and I've no doubt that once he gets one the goals will come again.
  • I think I'd be a bit fed up if I were Igor. He was poor yesterday but it must be so frustrating playing each week knowing that you won't really be involved and will have to work exceptionally hard to find scraps to feed off of.
  • He's definitely struggling for form at the moment. It's not just goals either, but his all round play.

Those who were at Brighton or Brentford away at the start of the season will remember how he was contributing to all round play and taking on players in one and one situations.

At the moment he isn't even in the game.
  • Fifth most lucrative

Letting the ball run under your foot 3/4 times in a game, or shinning a touch when running towards goal is hardly feeding off scraps. He also completely missed his kick right before we got the penalty

  • Wasn't he fouled...hence why we got the penalty. Agree with the rest of your post though.

My point is more that the service he has received and general support due to the way we set up tactically and perhaps also the mentality of team has been limited all season. Earlier in the season he seemed a bit sharper and was contributing to a lot more. I just think it must be very hard and frustrating for him to play in this team at times but I do agree that he just wasn't at it at all yesterday and his first touch was atrocious.

'dog shit' is harsh. He's not been in form but to me he doesn't look fully fit. Feel we hurried him back from injury because frankly we had nobody else. Was hoping he would be on the bench yesterday to give the lad some rest. Irritating hearing one or two sat behind me in the NU screaming how fecking useless he is.
  • He doesn't look fit, and the tackle on him for the penalty seemed to hit him on the Achilles he's been struggling with

this, plus he was sold a scenario where we'd be challenging for the PL in a couple of seasons and it doesn't look that way at the moment. A couple of decent signings in Jan and I think we'll see a revived Igor.

I saw Mrs Igor in the flesh last night. Just wow.

I met her on the pitch after the game. Said she'd lost a contact lens in the centre circle from a few nights ago (:
