What might have been if we'd been able to keep Igor fit and had not sold Yann. They would've been a potent pairing with JBG and Bulot (when he finally settled) providing the ammunition. As has been said many times before, briefly putting aside all the off the field damage that was done, it was such a missed opportunity in the early part of the Roland years when we already had some good players, and bought a few more, but never quite went the extra steps to build a truly coherent squad (and appoint a properly qualified manager). It needn't have cost that much more to make us into a side capable of challenging for the play-offs in the championship.14

A bit open down our left, don’t you think?Sage said:
It was Igor, but it was outside the box and the keeper only got a yellow when he should’ve been sent off. It was against Luton.golfaddick said:Wasn't it Vetokele who got taken out by the oppositions keeper down the JS end & ref played on instead of giving us a pen ?
That day, Berry played for Luton, as did Elliot Lee, Andrew Shinnie (who got sent off), and Harry Isted was on the bench.
Our team that day was:
Phillips
Solly - Bauer - Sarr - Purrington
Bielik
Cullen - Aribo
Williams
Taylor - Vetokele
Great team.3 -

Thought he looked promising until suddenly got drained by the extra games in England. Then strangely talked of needing to recover from going up for headers. Started getting niggles to go with the fatigue, which never stopped him playing for Angola when he'd been out for us.
Didn't feel like he could be bothered to take on the load after that, deep sighs about the amount of games here in interviews.1 -
Not sure what you are on about. He got an achilles injury and was pushed back to play when he clearly wasn't fit. Not sure he ever recovered properly, certainly not for us.Ferryman said:Thought he looked promising until suddenly got drained by the extra games in England. A real shame about the injuries because he had it all - quick, strong, good finisher, decent in the air for a relatively short striker & could use both feet. I’d imagine he would have scored a hell of a lot more than 83 career goals if he could have stayed fit.9
