Magnificent performance by Chile, who must be a complete nightmare to play against. They are all over the opposition when not in possession and Chile's speed, movement and passing is razor sharp. I like the cut of the manager's jib as well - he seems to epitomise the side's energy and desire. If they play Mexico in the next round, it will be great to watch the two managers on the touch line, both of whom look as if they are about to burst a blood vessel.
It is certainly the end of an era for what was a great Spanish team but nothing lasts forever. There will also be plenty of talent coming through to replace centurions like Alonso, Xavi, Casillas and others.
A tad lucky to beat minnows OZ in the first game. Their speed and movement against OZ in the second half was as quick as evolution..................
If I was Spanish/half Spanish like Leroy I would like to think I'd feel the same. Won every major tournament between 2008 and 2012 that's proper domination
I bear no malice towards them, only the experts who have behaved like someone has died now the bubble has burst
I am originally from Spain, and am disappointed with how this tournament has gone, but I could see it coming (maybe not the humiliation by the Dutch). I am glad though that I am fortunate enough to have witnessed the national team I support win so much in my lifetime, and know how much joy it brings and will have those memories forever. Where as my brother can only imagine whilst looking at clips of 66. Now its time for me to get behind England even more so, but it probably isn't going to be so I get two lots of disappointment this tournament, first time in a while.
