Now I'm not sure if this discussion has been on here before (probably was last summer), but I was watching the Ice hockey Playoffs (only decent sport in North America) here in Vancouver last night - Vancouver Canucks vs Dallas Stars to be precise, and the game went into sudden death. Sudden Death extra time lasted for about 80 minutes, 20 minutes longer than the actual game itself. It was great.
Why can't we do this in the big tournaments at least?
Please don't tell me security dictates that we have to have penalties.
P.s Vancouver won.... if anyone actually cares.
