Coyr /ˈkɔɪr/ is a natural fibre extracted from the husk of coconut and used in products such as floor mats, doormats, brushes, mattresses, etc. Technically, coyr is the fibrous material found between the hard, internal shell and the outer coat of a coconut. Other uses of brown coyr (made from ripe coconut) are in upholstery padding, sacking and horticulture. White coyr, harvested from unripe coconuts, is used for making finer brushes, string, rope and fishing nets.

I didn't even see your comment RC, although i can't see why Braydex couldn't see it was a joke.
braydex - dont worry about - we all get abused on 'ere. You get used to it after a while. FYI, COYR is about as fundamental Charlton as you can get, but i think we're all a bit twitchy waiting for the new season to start, especially after Englands demise!
