  • 81' GOOOAAALL! Simon Church makes it Charlton 5-1 Gibraltar XI #CAFCInSpain #cafc
  • I presume Church was standing on the goal line
  • Ohhh Georgey Georgey
  • Gibraltar down to ten men as a barman / defender had to leave early to go to work

As a digression, Brentford warm up games include Espanol, Nice and Crystal Palace.

    Nice.
Hopefully 3 stuffings lead to a demoralised Brentford playing us!
  • Church is our senior striker. Fact.

  • 5-1
    and even churchy scored

Now what does that remind me of :)
  • Come on fellas
Enough of the old Churchy bashing.
Let's give him a bit of credit, you never know he "could" surprise you all this season.
He is a Charlton player like it or not!

    COYR

    That went down well then!?!?!?

    Pisstakers!

    COYR...
  • God we do have a number of special people on twitter don't we

Is that F/T? I am searching furiously for pictures of a hand with six fingers on it, Spanner forum, Gillingham forum...
  • 5-1 not bad, at least started scoring
  • Did any of you actually attend this game or was it "behind closed doors"?
  • Wasnt Behind Closed Doors as fans had been invited to attend... Didnt go myself as I'm in London (Followed events via. twitter) but nor did I see any fans in any pics posted

Ok, thanks! Would be interested to hear from those that were there (all two of them) ;-)
  • seb is over there so I assume he was at the game

  • I know of two people who went. Assuming Seb was there as well so there would have been at least three!
  • like it when the strikers score, especially the new ones.
  • Since when has there been more goals than fans?
  • Just got back from the game. Really strong 2nd half performance. George looked a real handful when he came on and Igor constantly run at their back 4, causing countless problems. Some good goals and even church claimed one when Ansahs shot hit his arse and deflected into the goal.

    Championship winners in the making....................

Was Morrison around at all? I didn't spot his name in the team list and he came under a little criticism in earlier games. I'm sure he'll bounce back soon enough but perhaps he's carrying a knock or something...
  • For those eight of you who 'liked' tangoflash's post, you do realise that, and correct me if I'm wrong, he wasn't at the game. For the two who laughed, well done.

Morrison came on as a late sub.

More concerned by the continued absence of Moussa.

Maybe the mystery of the man in the cast in Welling is solved? Bit disappointing though I guess if he is injured it's better before the season than during.
  • I can't believe Seb has gone. Absolute legend.
