    Give him minutes but would prefer to play ventekele and Tucadean from the start. Get a partnership going, the longer they play with each other the better. The rest of the side is pretty strong but Pigott is gonna get nowhere near the starting line up come Brentford. He had a good pre-season last year but was well out his depth once the real stuff started.I understand these games don't matter and its about fitness etc but just find including him from the start pretty pointless. He could score a few here but still can't see him pushing his way into peeters thoughts for the season (just my opinion of course)

    Maybe he's a better player now than last year.

    Maybe he's Bobby type of player

    Maybe BP isn't sure of his starting line up yet

    Maybe BP wants to give all the players a run out otherwise what is the point of the friendlies?

    Pompey will give us clearer idea of the Brentford line up. Tonight is still about trying out different teams and tactics.

    He's young and Peeters is going to give the youth a go. Don't disagree that we should be looking for a starting partnership and Pigott probably isn't in it but does no harm to give him another half.
