Although he would be a good signing i can't see it happening personally. I think he would want to play higher up than us.1

Can't ever see it happening, but at least it's taken some of the pressure of Athletico Addick!1

Hard to see the Wood for the trees in this thread. Hope AA was right and it's not a load of Baldocks. Unless he's oven us a clue already and we need to Reid between the lines4

If he goes out on loan then I'm sure top Championship clubs and lower Prem teams would be interested. Can see him ending up at somewhere like QPR or Burnley.0

Cant find anything from trusted sources, last i heard Hull City was after him0

I'm surprised Wigan wouldn't go back in again. It would be good to see him, but what would that then say about Vetokele and Tucudean? If we did get him I can't see us playing all 3 at once and I doubt any of them would be happy to be the one on the bench.
I'm all for it. Maybe he's Reza's replacement?1 -

Charlton are set to announce the signing of Nick Powell on a season-long loan as early as next week. #Confirmed #MUFC #CAFC0 -
Seems to be catching fire that rumour. If he joins let's hope he has the hunger to play a few games for us1

You need at least four good strikers in your squad, with Reza almost certainly going would you want to rely on Church and pigott as your 3rd and 4th strikers. Yes two would have to take their turn on the bench but it is a squad nowcabbles said:I'm surprised Wigan wouldn't go back in again. It looks to me like the strikers pecking order at the moment is;ross1 said:

Had a good year at Crewe. SCP was keen but he went to Man Utd. Been on loan since. Decent season at Wigan and now seemingly on the movedrewman said:I'm glad there's at least one other person on this thread who's never heard of him. Can we have some enlightenment for the non anoraks please?

Was crewe's top goalscorer in league 2 with 15 goals from midfield at the ripe old age of 17. Scored their goal of the season and won all 5 of their end of season trophies. Has been hailed as the finest ever product of crewe's academy and then got his dream move to United and then loaned to Wigan. A move from his native Nantwich might do him some good considering his drink driving ban recently.0

It would be amazing if we got him on a permanent deal.
I can't believe no one has posted his goal from the league 2 play off final a couple of years back.
