Whats best to use for booking a holiday?

Heard mixed messages for both

Some say instore they can see better offers and can offer more others say online get better deals

    What you want to find is a reputable company that offers a price match policy. Then if you can be bothered, trawl through everywhere to find the best deal and send them a screenshot to match it. I did this with Virgin Holidays for a Vegas trip 2 years ago and knocked c. £200 off

    Just don't book with Alpha Rooms. Basically their small print says they can do what they like with you if the hotel is overbooked, including bumping you to a lesser hotel with no refund of the difference (Yes really!), they just offer you the choice of your money back if you don't like it. No good if it's a week before the holiday in the middle of August and you have the flights already booked for four of you...
