This link is very useful to give you an idea of what you can cover in so many days. I personally love the Llangollen and the Avon ring, but each circuit has its own rewards. There is also a pub stop guide on the internet somewhere or other. I really enjoy working the locks, especially the staircases, so the more the merrier as far as I'm concerned. Others on the boat may be less convinced but a wee dram or 3 seems to win most people over :-)

Especially if you want to avoid boats full of pissed up lads who didn't pay attention during the briefing / training sessions and who are likely to f*** you and your holiday up.
