Wouldn't it be terrible if someone like Cardiff won it.

I also think it puts clubs in a difficult situation. If a club is given £250,000 then they feel as if they have to spend it. They might not want to add to their wage budget.

the finalists have been announced, no Charlton I am afraid and it seems like it will go to a championship club who probably don't need it

What an absolutely terrible idea. Hope that one of the two Leeds fans or the Forest fan wins it. Those two clubs will have a transfer embargo and almost certainly won't be able to spend the money. That would put the mockers on the scheme and, with luck, ensure it doesn't happen again.
