I never know much about other Championship teams. Why would Birmingham be 6th? Have they bought many? Certainly appear to have a good manager which will help but play offs seams a bold assumption for 442.
Derby and Boro clearly there or thereabouts. Burnley too. Doubt QPR will be far away with their cash and Fulham seem to have bought well (well, players I have heard of anyway!) with Weds splashing some cash.
Hull may be the relegated team to do less well if their Chairman is losing interest but in Bruce they have a willy manager and they have kept hold of some very good players (I think!)
I could see Derby, Burnley in autos and Boro, QPR, Fulham and Weds in play offs. Rotherham, MK Dons and Bolton bottom 3 but close calls for Huddersfield and Preston too.
Anyone got links to season previews, I like to read them at this stage and feel mildly encouraged/ outraged at what's written. Especially the supporters' ones where somebody from Fulham says that they hope we go down because they don't like red as it reminds them of their house master at prep school.
Good point, that fella certainly knew how to use his loaf.
Warburton has now gone to a massive Club(not Wednesday) but with no money. Glasgow Rangers will expect him to be the Messiah ? how is he going to feed the 25 thousand with 5 Loaves and a couple of Fiiiiiiishes ?
Brentford have bought some decent players, certainly on a par with us; be interesting to see how their new foreign manager copes, but could be a team like Watford last season, and a very good bet for the play-offs.
Forest will struggle; even with Hamer in goal, the transfer embargo is hitting them hard, and if Antonio is sold, they will be bottom third for sure.
I agree about Wolves - without Sako, they will be poorer - mid-table for me.
Derby and Boro have bought big, so will be up there, and nobody can right off Burnley, who know what is required to bounce back.
Hull and QPR are the unknowns - a good start and they could stay in the top six all season, but a bad start and they could be this seasons Fulham.
For others like us, Wednesday, Fulham, Brum, Reading, Ipswich, Cardiff, we will all be pushing for a top ten finish and hope for better, while Huddersfield and Blackburn (without Gestede and probably Rhodes) will try and not lose too many.
Brighton, Rotherham, MKD, Bolton, Leeds, Bristol City, and Preston will be the main incumbents on the relegation struggle.
Have people who are predicting Bristol City to do well based on their League One performance/feel for the club/past League One winners doing well actually looked at their squad? It is ridiculously small and Aaron Wilbraham might be starting for them. Wagstaff probably isn't too far off either.
Steve Cotterill doesn't have a particularly amazing track record at this level either.
Given the mag / writer was good enough to devote a lot of time to the trip, engage with fans etc, personally I'd prefer it if people didn't post copies of the article on here / on line out of respect / gratitude.
Not bought a football mag for 20+ years, but I think I'll buy this as a thank you

Who was the writer btw?
Then I realised that Robinson hadn't had an email explaining how the system should work so it was always going to be a waste of time signing it.
