From what i have heard his agent has done him the deal of the century, and as much as we don't like the etiquette and way this saga has publicly been carried out, his agent has effectively got his client around double the deal they were looking at getting, and happy to, a few weeks ago.
Oh, and he looks like a knob :-)2 -
Hope this comes back to bite Uwe on the bum....hard !0

He traded living in the capital for a club appearing to be going places...
For the worst fanbase in history0 -

Chances are that his income is supporting him, his parents (if his dad is his agent) and probably his brothers and sisters. They needed to whore him around the Championship so that they can all live off his his one big contract for the rest of their lives.AFKABartram said:From what i have heard his agent has done him the deal of the century, and as much as we don't like the etiquette and way this saga has publicly been carried out, his agent has effectively got his client around double the deal they were looking at getting, and happy to, a few weeks ago.

Why should any of his hangers on care where he has to live if they can secure a few more quid. It's sad but that's modern football.

What part of the two clubs couldn't agree a fee do people not understand?2

It don't matter now does it no point arguing
He was shit anyway2 -
"Andy is such an exciting player. He lives to score. We have managed to bring in a proven goalscorer at the right age for under £3m and that is a testament to our club but especially to the player, his family and his agent."
Uwe seems to think it was a snip

I'm just thankful we'v already played- an beaten Wigan. Cos if an when that scabby team roll up at the valley with AD, the crowd will boo him an we all know what happens next.1

Who is Andy Delort?1

As long as it's when he's on loan at a Premier League club, I don't care...Elthamaddick said:you know he'll score against us...

I think Wigan are a little more fancied to be in the Premier League this time next year than we are. In footballing terms it makes sense.Dave2l said:He traded living in the capital for a club appearing to be going places...

Lets be honest here... most would have loved us him to sign, I include myself in that. If RD wasn't prepared to negotiate then fair play to him too, he is already showing his case by the players and manager he's brought in. Ultimately, my one concern about signing AD was the public way in which he put himself in the shop window. Thats not the kind of player id want at Charlton, especially if he went on to bang 60 goals over the next couple of seasons and then tried to do the off midway through his contract with us. Good luck to him. Wigan need to get promoted this season otherwise they will be off loading all their high wagers like there's no tomorrow.3

All of this seems to be resting on the pretence that he will score lots of goals-it isn't exactly guaranteed is it.0

I so can't wait for match thread days now. Being given updates on how a player who has never played for us is doing...................1

Terrible mistake joining wigan, judging by his expression in all of his photos and his tattoo tear he would of just loved woolwich.0

I shouldn't think he cares about how nice (or not) Wigan is as a place. He hardly looks like a sophisticated Parisian with that gang style tattoo below his eye. Looks like trouble and the way him and his Dad have publicly behaved through the process has not impressed.1
