time for all clubs to have to make available at least 3k to away teams ?

Should all clubs be forced to make available up to 3,000 spaces available to away fans if there is a demand ? Obviously its an issue for clubs with smaller grounds like brentford but for the game in general it could make use of grounds more efficient and bring in more revenue as clubs have to radically rethink how the use their grounds...It might even bring back standing in some sections

Disagree, it means potentially a ground be so small that they can't sell season tickets due to the possibility of a club selling 3k meaning they lose much needed revenue, the current rules are fair game!!!!

    Not practical.
Today for a start, how and why should Brentford give 33% of the ground to away supporters?

Putting a number on it would not work. A % like in the cup could work, but I can't see there would ever be the demand.

And hate to be a pessimist if the games not in London, or Brighton some games we struggle to take 300

Clubs could then demand that the visiting club buys all the tickets with no refund for unsold tickets.

How would we feel if we were in the premiership and we had to make 6,000 seats available?

Someone like Welling or a small League Two team could be in trouble then accommodating home fans... Especially if its a team like Portsmouth who tend to follow their club in numbers

No that would lead to financial meltdown for a lot of clubs.

6000 would be ok if and when we build the valley up

Easy for us to do/same given we have a stand we can give to away teams. Not straightforward for other clubs.

I think there's a percentage that the club has to give to away fans, that should be enforced. Arsenal always hide behind the safety and segregation excuse.

We've had to reorganise our ground for FA Cup games when we had to give 15% of capacity to the away clubs so why shouldn't other clubs do that?

Police would immediately put a kybosh on that suggestion !

Enough empty seats to have easily made up the 3k today

But imagine small teams like brentford, huddesfield, shef weds they would never sell 3k out.

Because there were loads of empty seats in the home end.

I think the current ruling of 2k or 10% which ever is lower is fair.

It would have been a win/win situation for brentford to have given one of the sides and stuck their own fans behind each goal...
