2nd round draw - DERBY AWAY
Comments

perhaps they will play there reserves against us0
-
When was the last time we weren't even pulled out of a hat yet end up with a tie.2
-
Well that's a
Turd draw0 -
So much for the anticipation of who were gonna get. Didn't even get pulled out the hat0
-
Good couple of tests coming up against a Derby side who can count themselves unlucky not to be in the PL. If BP goes with as strong a side as last night we might find we have the upper hand if Derby play a much weakened team2

Danny Green's got a nice house and draw.0

What a strange way to do the draw, why can they not do the same as the FA cup? How are we away automatically?
On top of that MK Plastics get bloody Man U at home!!!!!

Spurs?golfaddick said:another crap draw........how come we always get a Championship team, away from home, whom we have just played.

Gills get Newcastle at home too ffs0

FFS, awful draw.0

At least we can see how our cup team fares in comparison to our 1st team.
Otherwise, yes, a total fuck up of a draw!0 -
It's like when the national lottery used to tell us earlier machine Genevieve was picked along side set of balls number 3.

Derby, excellent...who against Palace or Millwall?0

They only drew the seeded teams. It seems like the unseeded teams had already had their home or away fate decided.Bournemouth Addick said:

Fulham?
since we were relegated from the Prem, we must have had at least 20 cup draws, and as far as I can recall we have drawn just 1 Prem team (Fulham).........and they aren't a great team to draw.0 -
I don't get how that's legit? So we weren't even pulled out of a hat?0
-
Unseeded teams were 'automatically' on the caption at the bottom one at a time, then teams were drawn out of the hat to play them. They cocked it up at one point and had to go back, all done at 100mph. Just strange all round. Blinked and you missed it.Bournemouth Addick said:

Our new look squad needs as many games as possible and this might prove quite valuable in gelling / testing the side and Bob Peeter's...
Put another way which would you (and Derby fans!) prefer- a win in the cup or league?
We need to test ourselves vs top 10 sides so Duchatelet, Meire and Peeters can see what works and what are the gaps which might be fixed in the next window.1 -
Or even this window as it doesn't close until 1st September...seriously_red said:

Thanks (and to @ValleyGary) but what a stupid, stupid idea. Cup draws have worked perfectly well for over a 100 years so why did some numbnuts think that was ever going to be an improvement!JT said:

don't understand the draw system as Derby were in round one and therefore not seeded0

I am happy with this. Good chance to knock out a club who only have one aim this season. Then another mediocre draw could give us serious cup progress. Onwards and....0
