FA Cup Final

Is it just me or is anyone else glad that Chelsea won yesterday? Not just because I bloody cant stand Blackburn but the
Fa cup final day is traditionally a family day in my family, you know, crisps, peanuts, lager, shandy for the kids, plate of sandwiches all in all a bit of a party with the family round.

Now, I would rather watch Chelsea v Manu than have Man U go 3 goals up in 15 minutes against Blackburn and effectivly kill the game off. I know Blackburn done well yesterday but I honestly think that Manutd would have hammered them.

I think it will be a good final this year.

  • Yes, I'd rather see the two best teams in the country go head to head and the fact that the champions league final is four days after could be very interesting what sides they both field should they be due to meet again.

And straight after one of them has won the league as well!
  • Both clubs will go for the treble/quadtruple, so no worries about under strenght sides at Wembley
  • It's hard to believe after the season they've had and the football they've played and all the goals they've scored, that United could actually win nothing.
  • More to the point, has anyone else seen the prices for it.

    Disgraceful.
  • £35 for the cup final is good going by previous standards, as are the higher prices. Not too different from Cardiff last season

Probably only have 1,000 of those £35 tickets for each club knowing ther FA...
  • Both teams are too good to win nothing. So I do not reckon there will be any trebles or quadruples this season. I'd like Man U to win Prem and Champions League leaving Chelsea with the FA Cup and the one they already have.
I would not even bother to watch Blackburn v Watford on MOTD let alone live. As for Man U v Chelsea...... Bring it on! If you really love football there is no better final. The free flowing exciting Utd against the dogged resilient Chelsea. Chelsea nick a 3-2 win in the 87th min.
If only we'd have had the "Peoples Final" I called for last year! My. how things could have different!
  • From what ive heard very little fall into the £35 category. After that the prices start to get very steep even going up to £90.
  • There were a fair few at £35 at Cardiff, so I expect the same at Wembley.

Big finals always have high prices, it was £90 for a top seat the Millennium last season, and the couple of years before that, so it's not bad, plus you can pay that for a league game at the Emirates.

    that doesn't make it ok!
  • Nope, but life ain't fair! As I'll find out on Friday when I won't get an England v Brazil ticket!
  • i will be giving it a miss - maybe catch the goals on sky sports news if i remember
