Signed-from-abroad XI

As we're all waiting for the next signing Charlton makes from abroad, I thought I would name a Charlton XI signed from overseas (ie from clubs outside the UK. Looks like, over the years, we've made some good signings, despite the upheaval of requiring a player to emigrate...
Sasa Ilic (Radnički Niš)
Mark Bowen (Shimizu S-Pulse) Jorge Costa (Porto) Talal El Karkouri (PSG) Soulemayne Diawara (FC Sochaux-Montbéliard)
Karim Bagheri (Persepolis F.C.) Dennis Rommedahl (PSV)
Allan Simonsen (Barcelona)
Shaun Bartlett (FC Zurich) Mark Bright (FC Sion) Hasse Jeppson (Djurgårdens)
Have I missed any key players out..?

Albert Uytenbogaardt, who I believe was our first ever signing from an overseas team: Cape Town Trams in 1948. Unless you count Albert Green who came from Sheppey Utd in 1921.
First player to go overseas from Charlton was Trevor Edmunds who played for Red Star Olympique (now Red Star FC 93) in the inaugural season of the French Football league - 1932.2 -

Only just realised that Martin Pringle is assistant manager at Copenhagen - where we got Igor from.1

One. Twenty minutes of a 2-0 (?) defeat at Ipswich. Played on the right side of midfield, where he did a few neat sideways or back passes and very little else. Hardly ever got in the squad and was an utter waste of £1m. Exceptional table-tennis player though.Taxi_Lad said:how many apps did bagheri make?

The only thing Astrit bought from overseas was his bumper pack of Bensons from duty free at CalaisForeverAddickted said:Jonatan Johansson.. Thomas Myhre.. Stephan Anderson.. Astrit Ajdarevic?

I liked Astrit, brought a bit of quality to midfield with his range of passing for an hour until, unfortunately, he started blowing out of his arris :-0DamoNorthStand said:
