35 with a match ticket isn't bad value but then it is a midweek game so they have more spare tickets then often as even when i had a season ticket very rarely would attend midweek games.
a ticket in the north is about £22? a pint £4? a programme £4? so for just £5 you can also get
Chicken curry, served with peppers and mushrooms in a medium coconut and cream curry sauce • Steamed rice, papadums, mango chutney and sambals • A visit from a Charlton legend • Hostess to support your matchday experience • teamsheet • Private table
not a bad offer to be fair.
The Charlton legend will probably be somebody who was on loan for a month. Graeme Murty or Marcel Seip.
Went to the last one and it was atrocious. Small portions ('no seconds' ). Chicken 'Vesta ' Curry ( almost worth it for that retro experience). The 'sambals' were a bowl of raisins and one of desiccated coconut. And no sign of a legend although this may not have been a bad thing. Easiest decision going to avoid this. If any of you want a ticket there are loads of season ticket holders will give you theirs for free.
Most unimpressed that no veggie option is mentioned. And the 'beer' is Foster's i.e. a yellow-coloured gassy liquid. Am pleased to read that there's a Hostess at hand "to support your matchday experience". Does that mean if you ask nicely, she'll put a black and white scarf on and jump about to a chorus of 'Stand up if you want them out'?
Quite fitting that the club deem it appropriate to bring back food that gives you the shits at the moment.. perfect compliment to our current match day experience.
So pissed off with the whole bloody lot, owner, clueless CEO, gutless Murray & players who couldn't give a shit. As for backroom staff, how can a supposed professional outfit concede so many goals from corners, and listening to this tonight even from 1 of ours - so bloody pissed off, I certainly will not be spending any of my money watching this shite this season.
I tell you what, if and when we are finally taken over, and we will be, I would love it if the commas team would send out an email stating that football was back on the menu at the valley.

Personally I find that at £25 per head it is a little steep
Still, I won't be doing it anyway so it doesn't matter.
Up yours Roland

£25 quid and you have to be a carnivore/omnivore.
Sod that.
For £25 or so three of you could have a very good lunch at Moca, Blackheath Standard, then stroll to the Valley.
Good value?
