    I remember driving back to Yorkshire (where I lived at the time) up the M1 after watching us beat Sunderland in the playoff final and there was a massive banner stretching across a bridge over the motorway saying "congratulations to Charlton on promotion to the premier league from Nottingham forest ".
    More rubbing salt in the wounds for the thousands of Sunderland fans heading back to the north east than the benefit of the odd Charlton fan seeing it.
