This quote from the Cardiff chairman baffles and irritates me:
Former Molde coach Solskjaer and Dalman both cited a "difference in philosophy" for the former Manchester United striker's departure.
What is the difference in philosophy? Surely it's just a simple case of "since Ole took over, we've consistently managed to not win football matches, so we've told him to eff off". Why do they have to try and dress it up as something deeper than that?!
Problem is Tan has an image (probably quite rightly) of being an owner who interferes in team selection. The interview he did at the end of last season was laughable. Cardiff are probably a great prospect for most managers, but working with him isn't. The more experienced senior managers in Britain like Pulis probably won't want to touch it with a barge pole because of Tan.
I worried RD was going to end up like that after what Alex dyer said about who he was telling CP to play etc. however it seems things are settled now he has his man in Peeters. Another great example are the Venkys at Blackburn. Circus when they first started, but have let Bowyer get on with it and look to be in a decent position.

Not surprised at all.
