Red Bull are a drinks company first and foremost and the time will come when the team will be sold (think Benetton from the 90s as a successful F1 team that got sold).
Never understood why Red Bull have 2 F1 teams. Can't see the benefit to the company.
Well Torro Rosso had been a good source of drivers for the main team. I guess it's like continental football clubs having a B team
Just how much money can a company make selling cans of liquid caffeine?
I know it's incredibly popular and sells all over the world, but I'm with you on this. I just don't understand how they've managed to make what is pretty widely accepted to be an unhealthy and, frankly, rancid flavoured drink into such a money spinner to the extent that they've got their fingers in extremely expensive to run pies like formula one and football teams around the world.
It doesn't make sense to me, but then again, I don't drink the filthy shit and don't know why any sane person would, so I guess it wouldn't.
Not a great way to end the race but lasted longer than it looked it might and I'm sure Hamilton will be happy with that. Decent race with the conditions.
The way everyone was whispering to each other and looking stern and with no news or footage being shown, It must be serious. Here's hoping for the best.
Update: Bianchi is unconscious and has been driven by police escort to the nearest hospital. Bad news is that it is 40mins away and the helicopter can't take off due to the weather.
Apparently Bianchi is in critical condition with a serious head injury and currently being operated on according to his dad. Horrible time for those close to him. Good luck Jules.
Questions will have to be answered as to why it wasn't a safety car period straight away, and why the JCB was out in a crash site so soon. They always say they have to be careful after a crash as if one car crashed in that area there's a chance another car will do exactly the same.
Bianchi is one of my favourite drivers, won 2 points for his team against all the odds in Monaco and was tipped for a Ferrari seat once Kimi retires again, really hope he pulls through, recovers well and comes back stronger next season
I have just heard on the news that he had to be taken to hospital by road as the medical helicopter was unable to fly due to the weather, surley the race should have been started if that was the case.

Last year, Redbull turned over slightly more than €5,040,000,000 - that's just over five billion Euros.
Do they actually make the drinks? I know the orignal drink is from Thialand and Red Bull bought the the rights to it. There was a documentry on the tv a while back about the company and basically they market things rather than produce.
Holy shit, that is a sickening impact. I'd kind of figured out that must have been how the accident looked from the photos of where the car finished up, but he was still travelling at a fair old speed when he hit. Looking at that he must have hit his head on the back of the JCB. Amazing he's still alive at all.

What makes less sense to me is why no other team have done it
Like asking why dont Red Bull make people carriers - because they are not a car manufacturer.
I'm not really into formula 1 but been an interesting race and that pass was quality.
Fingera crossed he is ok.

Didn't want to take him up in it though because of the pressure changes which could have effected his swellings on the brain.
