Jackson----6 Gudmenson---6 Cousins---7----should be with Buyens in the middle. Bulot-----6----ok Bob wants his to play all over but his game was all over the place not in a good way. Vetokele----7------ran them silly the guy marking went off with cramp. Moussa-----7.5 --- changed the game
Henderson - 6.5 - Needs to work on his kicking. Solly - 8 - Very good game, almost back to his best. Wiggins - 6 - Done ok, but we know he can be much better. Bikey - 7 - Dominant in air as usual. Ben Haim - 6.5 - Gets a bit too confident with ball at his feet, but it's refreshing to see his approach rather than the "hoof" we've put up with for several seasons now. Gudmundsson - 6 - Can & will do better. Hope all these knocks are minor ones. Buyens - 6 - Fairly anonymous, until Jacko went off and was then pushed further up. Jackson - 5 - Seemed lost. Time for a spell on the bench skip. Cousins - 6 - Clearly so much better in the DM role rather than LM. Is clueless when attacking from LM. Bulot - 7 - Looked better when out wide and was unlucky with the shot that his the post. Vetokele - 6 - Tried hard, but really needs another stricker alongside him. Moussa - 7.5 - I thought he did much better than his previous two games at The Valley. More of the same please!
Tucudean n/a - I still like him...so unlucky not to score with that header at the end. Wilson n/a - He's alright.

Crunching tackles and good wing play Wiggins 7 I thought he done well Bikey 7.5 absolute monster. However, I did see the elbow and i think he's lucky not too have been sent off. Ben Haim7 as above. Solid Gudmundsson 6 didn't really do much. Linked up well with Solly. Buyens 5.5 his passing game was off. I did notcr in the first half he was having to retrieve the ball from deep though. Jackson 5 he looked tired from the start. Time for a rest? Cousins 7 again I thought he was OK on the wing but tinned better when in the middle. Bulot 7 a game of two halves. Once the ball got rolling and he found his feet, I thought he looked very dangerous Vetokele 7 the lad doesn't stop working for the cause Moussa 7 looked good when coming on. Good movement.

Vetokele 7, if only we had people who get the ball to him and he did not have to keep playing deep. Moussa 6 had a solid game. Susprised at Middlesborough was expecting more.

Great to see Chris putting in that sort of performance Wiggins - 6.5: gave the ball away on occasions in the first half but (as is now his custom) got better as the game went on and made some effective forward forays Bikey - 7.5: another commanding performance. The Bamford incident and the ensuing pantomime lifted the entire ground, not that I'm suggesting he makes a habit of this sort of thing (if, which is not admitted, he ruffled the lad's quiff) Ben Haim - 8.5: MOM - another dominant and classy performance Gudmundsson - 7: looked our sole threat in the first half until he turned his ankle. He is great at receiving the ball with his back to goal, turning past defenders in one movement and opening up the opposition. Going to be a big player for us this season Buyens - 5.5: picked up in the second half but poor by his exalted standards Jackson - 5: struggled against an athletic Boro midfield and tended to slow us down too much when he had the ball Cousins -7: a typically committed and driven performance. Really pushed us on once he moved into his favourite central position Bulot - 7: a quietly promising debut, with some good touches Vetokele - 6.5: worked tirelessly but was isolated until the later stages of the game. He won't come up against many better or speedier centre halves than Omeruo, whom Karanka very sensibly deputed to try and nullify our main man Moussa - 7.5: a very good second half display; certainly the best I've seen from him
