Doing a bit of family history research.
I was searching for articles on Woodhill School my father uncles and Auntie attended 1928-39 at various times.
Came across the following link

Some excellent newsreel on CAFC at various times.
If anyone has recollections of being at the school (long shot I know!) from that era and maybe remembers Norman Dove, Ronald and Dennis Smith perhaps you could PM me.
Also where are the WW1 memorials in Woolwich, I would be keen to find details of William. Henry Dove of Henry Street Woolwich 8th Battalion Rifle Brigade died 17th Sept 1917.
Cheers!

PM SG3toSE7 about the War memorial.
My dad, George Hayes, went to Woodhill in that period but no longer with us to ask0 -
My family lived in Samuel Street in 1922. My aunt still lives in France's St and she is 99 next birthday. I think she will love some of these.0
