The critical question for me though is whether to turn my back on the burger van opposite the Superstore after ten years of faithfully munching on a zero meat content dehydrated 'large with onions (lots of) and cheese' and be tempted by those trendy continental types with their hand-pulled pork baps and fancy ways behind the east stand.

Its all about psychology. Every game has to be a constant struggle otherwise you lose. Its all about Bob's influence in this regard so I expect him on his knees with us 2-0 up begging the team to play higher up the pitch.0

I really am not sure how to call this one? First goal looks crucial as always. Law of averages says it is time for the opposition to score first and I think that may happen. I have a feeling Birmingham will wish they had another South London trip this season, 2-0 to them.0

The evidence seems to say that Birmingham City under Lee Clark are much better away from home than at St Andrews and we ought to remember that. I am a little perturbed that our camp see it as the game to get through before everybody has some kind of a break. The game is still there in front of us and needs 100% focus and attention, the international break can take care of itself.
It is going to be a test as to how up for it we are, the upcoming break, the result at Norwich, may make the players take their foot off the gas...we are unbeaten and it would be good to stay that way.1 -

Birmingham are a decent away side, with 9 wins away last season - just as well for them, given that the last of their two home wins last season was on 1 October 2013. Amazing really that they stayed up on only 44 points.
At least this time out, we won't be troubled by Chris Burke or their ridiculously tall ex-striker, Nikola Žigić. It's likely to be a tight game and they'll probably get lots of men behind the ball. I do, however, fancy us to take the three points and go into the international break on a high.0 -

My wife has predicted every home game correctly so far this season so my publicising this will probably be the kiss of death!
Anyway, according to her, Birmingham will take the lead in the first half and Charlton will equalise midway through the second half and then live dangerously before breaking away very late to nick a 2-1 win.
It will be interesting to see what actually happens.....0 -

This division is starting to resemble recent seasons in terms of tightness and this was highlighted by it being a good week for the teams at the bottom. Fulham won two on the bounce, Blackpool beat Cardiff and Bolton sacked Dougie Freedman. If you look at recent form keep an eye on our neighbours who are sliding down like a well oiled pole dancer.
Also Hudds win at Wolves has to be the surprise of the week although you wouldn't know it from some of the headlines in the week after our three points at Carrow Road. It is worth reminding people that we are unbeaten. Also worth pointing out how useful Birmingham look and so in this closest and most unpredictable of leagues they will come to make themselves hard to beat and look to take back a point in my opinion.
However they will fail with Igor grabbing a very late winner. 1 - 0.0
