My lap top just keeps saying diagnosing your pc at the start up screen

Been doing it for three hrs now

Will it fix it's self or shall I take it to the pc Dr

If it's a programme running that you don't know and possibly didn't choose to install, it's probably malware/ virus software. Try installing and running Malwarebytes- the free version at top of the list here-> https://www.malwarebytes.org/downloads/

It's easy to install and run, assuming you can still get to the internet while the alleged diagnostic programme is doing its thing. It was recommended elsewhere on here and has sorted me out a few times.

I can't get it to open at all, when I turn the power on it says attempting to fix, then diagnosing your pc and the windows icon just spins

Able to power on the computer in safe mode?

If not, might be worth taking it into a repair shop/resetting the computer.
