  • Does anyone know if there is free parking within a reasonable distance of the ground? Never been to the Madjeski but Elm Park was terrible for parking, at least a mile.
  • Fulham took 3k there this season, Fulham for God sake!

Some street parking in residential roads the other side of the A33. Aim for Basingstoke Road and then pick one of the smaller roads off that. A good 20 minute walk from there to the stadium but better than hiking or bussing it from the station.
  • The official car park is one of the worst to get out of. Allow an hour at least. Last time I parked there I went back inside for a cup of tea or two and it had hardly moved when I came back out

A win and good performance at Leeds will help sell a few more for Reading! We haven`t decided yet but could be 5 more going.

    No Boat

Edit - from what I've seen I don't think anyone would be doing much after a journey of that length.

Official car park about ten minutes walk from ground. Costs a bit, but dead easy last year.

I've just checked the regulations and 58 minutes doesn't count as a 'bump'. You need to wait at least a week, or ideally several years.

When times are hard you just take any chance you can get to get a bump in!

Park off the Basingstoke road, get away quickly at the final whistle and you should be fine. The ground is very close to the M4 then it's on the M25. M26 and M20 all the way. The motorways bit shouldn't take more than an hour and a half unless very congested.
