Following on from his History of the world in 100 Objects Neil MacGregor, director of the British Museum, is looking at the history of Germany using objects, art, landmarks and literature.

Fascinating stuff about a country I know little about.

Worth a listen if you enjoy history and/or art.

I have caught some of this series. Neil MacGregor is brilliant - possibly the second-best museum curator alive today :-) He engages, simply despite the subject matter often being seemingly inaccessible.
